Washington: A historic agreement has been reached between the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Bahrain and Israel (Israel) for the restoration of peace in West Asia. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the foreign ministers of the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain were invited to the White House by US President Donald Trump to sign the agreement.
On this occasion, Trump hoped that Saudi Arabia would also join the deal at the right time to normalize relations with Israel. He said: “I sincerely hope that Saudi Arabia will also be involved in the agreement between the United Arab Emirates, Israel and Bahrain at the right time.”
Chord name ‘Abraham’
United Arab Emirates Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, United Arab Emirates Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, Bahraini Foreign Minister Abdullatif al-Zayani (Foreign Minister of Bahrain Abdullatif al-Zayani) and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu The White House on Tuesday signed a bipartisan accord and joint statement with Trump. The agreement was named the Covenant of Abraham.
Became the third and fourth country
The United Arab Emirates and Bahrain have now become the third and fourth Arab countries to recognize Israel, established in 1948. It was only Egypt and Jordan that recognized Israel. In fact, for decades most of the Gulf countries have boycotted Israel, claiming that they will not have relations with Palestine until the Palestinian dispute is resolved. However, at the initiative of US President Donald Trump, now the frozen ice on the relationship is melting.
Quiet position indicated
Saudi Arabia is the biggest power in the Gulf countries and one of the world’s largest oil exporters. That’s why America wants them to be part of this historic deal. Even though the Saudi government is not fully prepared for this, but the way it has taken a calm stance on the deal, it is very important. This is the reason why Donald Trump believes that Saudi Arabia will join the agreement at the right time.
