Louisiana Deputies Arrest Texas Murder Suspect’s Brother


WEST MONROE, La.  — On Friday, April 29, 2022, Ouachita Parish Sheriff deputies received information that Demetrius K. Bradshaw, 22, a murder suspect from Tarrant County, Texas, had been located at his mother’s residence in the 100 block of South Riverbend Drive. When deputies arrived on the scene, they knocked on the front door and observed Bradshaw looking out the front window, stating, “Momma, there’s someone at the door.”




Deputies also observed Bradshaw walking to the residence’s rear, according to deputies. The authorities then ordered everyone to vacate the premises.

Deputies then entered the residence and discovered Bradshaw concealed in a bedroom closet beneath several items. Additionally, authorities made contact with Eric Kelly, Bradshaw’s 19-year-old brother, who was in the same room as Bradshaw.

Bradshaw and Kelly have been arrested and are being held at the Ouachita Correctional Center. Kelly was charged with Complicity in the Aftermath.
