Eligibility for the Maine $850 Stimulus Checks

Stimulus checks have been announced for Maine’s taxpaying citizens. Governor Janet Mills proposed the idea years ago.

The program was recently approved by the state government. The bill is known as the “Supplemental payment.”

To fund the checks, a budget of $1.2 billion has been set aside. The money is expected to benefit nearly 800,000 residents.

Maine residents earning less than $100,000 per year will be eligible for the stimulus check. The income limit is set at $150000 for the head of the household and $200000 for married couples filing jointly.
