The fourth instalment of Social Security Stimulus Checks is now available.
In 2022, approximately 64 million Social Security beneficiaries will see a 5.9 percent increase in their cost of living adjustment. Monthly Stimulus Checks for retired workers would increase from $1,565 to $1,657 as a result of the increase. Social Security benefits are mailed on the second, third, or fourth Wednesday of each month, depending on your birth date.
Monthly benefits increased from $2,599 to $2,753 for the couple. Meanwhile, the number of people living with disabilities increased by 5.9 percent in the United States. Shannon Benton of the Senior Citizens League told the Sun, “We’ve received hundreds of emails from seniors concerned about making ends meet.”
The Stimulus Package Will Benefit Seniors
“For many, the significant cost of living adjustment exacerbated their financial difficulties by pushing their income above programme limits, effectively disqualifying them from medicare savings programmes and other forms of assistance.”
