Authorities in Beauregard Parish Are Still Looking for a Texas Homicide Suspect.


DeRidder, Louisiana – The Beauregard Parish Sheriff’s Office is informing locals that they are still looking for a Texas homicide suspect who they believe is in the neighborhood of Charles Duttry Rd.

Authorities said they are searching the same area as they did yesterday. They warn locals to exercise caution and secure their homes and buildings.

Charles Spraberry is described as a white male with blonde hair and hazel eyes, standing five feet seven inches tall and weighing 205 pounds. According to BPSO, he is wanted by Texas authorities on suspicion of involvement in a double killing.

According to BPSO, Spraberry is suspected to be wearing a black baseball cap. He is regarded as being armed and dangerous.

If residents observe anything suspicious, they are urged to contact the sheriff’s office immediately at 337-463-3281 or 911. Residents are advised not to approach the suspect and to secure their houses and other properties. Residents may contact the sheriff’s office to arrange for the clearing of any property.
